Zusammenfassung: | The invention describes a means of reducing vibration by variable applied pressure in percussive hand-guided compressed-air machine tools, in particular compressed-air hammers, and its aim is to largely avoid transmission of the vibration from the percussion mechanism to the handle by means of a variable air cushion. Here, the object is to obtain a means of reducing vibration which comes into effect as a function of the pressure force applied by the operator. This object is achieved by the design of the running tube cover, on the conical surfaces of which a variable air cushion builds up, the back pressure of which becomes all the greater the further the running tube is pressed into the handle and the housing. This ensures that an effective reduction of vibration is achieved even during a large applied pressure by the operator. |
