Zusammenfassung:	The housing, especially in the case of high pressure and medium pressure component turbines of steam turbines, is designed with a double shell, that is with an inner housing (5) and an outer housing (3). By using the double shell construction both pressure differentials and temperature differences can be distributed. The cladding (4) ensures that the relatively cold exhaust steam (2) cannot flow around the inner housing (5). Hot fresh steam (1), which is drawn from the piston seal (7) flows through between cladding (4) and inner housing (5).
