Zusammenfassung: | The emergency brake device has vent devices (18) for the main air line (1), which devices can be actuated by emergency brake handles (20) and switch back automatically after a specific time period, the aeration taking place in a restricted manner via a nozzle (24). A flow monitoring device (3) is provided at the compressed-air supply device for the main air line (1), which flow monitoring device actuates a display device (12) when the injection of compressed air is at an abnormally high level and, for this purpose, actuates a rapid-braking valve (10) delayed via a timing element (13, 14). The automatic actuation of the rapid-braking valve (10) can be inhibited by the driver of the locomotive by actuating an aeration valve (17) when desired. On being actuated, the vent device (18) brings about, at most, a small drop in pressure in the main air line (1), which serves as a signal and brings about a triggering of the flow monitoring device (3). By actuating the aeration valve (17), the locomotive driver can inhibit the automatic implementation of rapid braking, despite the fact that the vent device (18) is actuated, while travelling through route sections which are unsuitable for the train to stop in; the train can then be brought to a standstill on a suitable section of the route. |
