Method and device for determining and scanning part-areas of an original to be scanned

A method and a device for determining contour coordinates of part- areas of an original and subsequent scanning by means of a light beam scanning device are demonstrated in accordance with which an original (12) is independently brought to a fixed reference point on an original table (11), a coordinate measuring system (14, 15, 19, 25) is set into a zero position with respect to the original table (11) being in a stop position, the contour coordinates of at least one part-area (A) to be scanned in the original (12) are determined and are supplied to a computing and control unit (9A) so that at least one part-area (A) can be scanned directly by the original table (11), which can be brought into a scanning position from the measuring position, by means of a light beam scanning probe (32). Immediately in front of the scanning probe (32), a horizontally arranged coordinate measuring device (14, 15, 19, 25) is located. Below this, an original table (11), which can be lowered and to which a vacuum can be applied, is arranged which can be brought from a measuring position into a scanning position (31) by means of transfer rods (30).
