Zusammenfassung:	Process for producing a multi-layer material in which a pourable polymeric raw material is applied to a continuous moving support (1), is melted on this and combination of the melt with a base material (5) takes place. After cooling, a finished material (6) is separated from the support (1). The apparatus for carrying out this process contains, arranged successively according to the sequence of the technological process, the following units: a feeder (7) for the pourable polymeric raw material, a melting unit (8), a device (9) for feeding the base material (5), a device (10) for combining the melt (4) with the base material (5) and a unit (11) for cooling the finished material (6), these units being connected together by means of a belt conveyor (12) representing the support (1). Here the load-bearing part of the belt (13) of the conveyor (12) runs below the feeder (7) and then passes through the melting unit (8), the device (10) for combining the melt (4) with the base material (5) and the unit (11) for cooling the finished material (6). In addition the apparatus is equipped with a device (14) for separating the finished material (6) from the belt of the conveyor (12).
