Zusammenfassung: | In the case of gas lasers having at least two discharge paths, it is particularly important to distribute the energy uniformly in time and space. In order to prevent resistive elements and the losses associated therewith, each discharge path is additionally supplied by a transformer and each of these transformers is energised by the same current. The energy supplied is consequently distributed uniformly in time and space, with purely inductive coupling and without resistive elements. As a consequence of this, the beam generation is improved and the electrical efficiency is considerably increased. A further advantage is that the individual supplies for the discharge parts are insulated from one another and are hence floating. This results in versatile possibilities for laser head design; earthing, interconnection, etc. |
