Electrical treatment cell

The invention relates to an electrical treatment device, in which the strip passes through a passage of an electrical treatment cell. The flow of electrolyte through the passage and the overflow into a collecting tank for the purpose of renewed through-flow are effected. The exchange of electrodes is facilitated by inserting the electrodes from the outside into holes in the walls of the passage. Tight seating of such electrodes is achieved by using an electrode having a T-shaped cross section, the upper part of the T being a flange for exerting a liquid-sealing force against the outside of the passage wall, while the vertical part of the T comprises that part of the electrode which is inserted into the hole in the passage wall.
