Belt filter press

The invention relates to the area of filtration technology, more precisely to belt filter presses. The belt filter press according to the invention contains a frame (1) having drums mounted thereon - a drive drum (2), tensioning drums (3) and a driven drum (4) - having filter belts (5, 6) stretched across these, pressing rolls (7), support rolls (8) and a discharge roll (9), devices (10, 12) for feeding the suspension and the regeneration liquid and filtrate-discharging chambers (13, 14). Rotation bodies (20) are freely arranged in a high pressure zone (15) on the surface of one of the filter belts (6), the pressing action of which rotation bodies on a surface unit of the filtercake to be pressed is at least 4 kp/cm . The rotation bodies (20) are held in the high pressure zone (15) by the walls of a housing (19) rigidly fixed to the frame (1). The invention can be used in the chemical industry and in municipal undertakings.
