Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to a ribbed sheet-metal housing for electrical rotating machines, whose jacket forms a round-bent steel sheet on which the cooling ribs are formed by means of sheet-metal deflections which are pressed together. The purpose of the invention is to form a ribbed sheet-metal housing which conforms with stringent requirements both from the point of view of mechanical strength and from the point of view of cooling. In addition, a purpose of the invention, seen from the point of view of technology, is to make possible simple production which is not cost-intensive in terms of prime costs, to be precise primarily for the effective mass-production requirement for asynchronous motors for general use. The specified aim is achieved in that the housing jacket is formed by a prismatic surface having n-sides, n being the number of cooling ribs which are arranged on the side edges of the prismatic surface and are produced by bending. |
