Zusammenfassung:	In a cable scraper for conveying bulk materials, in particular construction materials, for feeding a metering hopper for concrete-preparation plants by means of a scraper bucket moved by a pulling cable as well as a pull-back cable, tensioning means are provided in the run of the pull-back cable, via which tensioning means (in the "scraping" working phase) the pull-back cable can be influenced as a function of the tensile force acting on the scraper bucket in such a way that a compensation force relieving the tensile force acts on the scraper bucket. This prevents the scraper bucket from being able to "eat" too deeply into the loose pile of bulk materials.
