Device for adjusting feed bobbins into an intermediate position

The invention relates to a device for adjusting feed bobbins into an intermediate position, especially on automatic winding machines, in which the feed bobbins are conveyed into the intermediate position from a conveyor band or a circular feed-bobbin magazine and are transferred from this intermediate position to the work station, for example by means of transfer mandrels which are arranged on a rotatabe cop creel. The object of the invention is to design the device for adjusting feed bobbins into an intermediate position, in such a way that, irrespective of the diameter and size of the bobbins, these always slip onto the mandrel in the correct way. According to the invention, the device consists of a pair of oppositely movable arms, of which the side faces lying against one another or confronting one another form with one another a narrowing gravity chute for the lower part of the tube of the feed bobbin, the lowest point of this gravity chute being located in the path of the tip of the transfer mandrel.
