Zusammenfassung:	The invention describes a valve, in particular an intake valve for a mixture-compressing internal combustion engine, which to prevent fuel deposits on the valve surface is provided with a cap which covers the valve poppet and is capable of vibration. The opening and closing movements of the valve cause the cap to vibrate and the fuel deposits adhering to the cap surface are thereby broken off.
