Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a process for the preparation of compositions based on polyester resins by adding one or more fibre material(s) and/or disperse filler(s) to the polyester resin and subsequently curing the polyester resin in the presence of one or more polymerisation initiator(s) and optionally activator(s), in which the fibre material and/or filler or one fibre material and/or filler is power station ash which has previously been mixed with water and then dried, in an amount of at least 3 % by weight, based on the weight of the polyester resin, so long as one or more other fibre material(s) and/or filler(s) are used by addition before this or these and/or simultaneously with this or these and/or after this or these. This gives products having the same advantageous properties, in particular mechanical properties, as can otherwise only be achieved by thermal aftertreatment.
