Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a headlamp for vehicles, the reflector and lens of which are bonded to one another in a sealing fashion, the incandescent lamp opening in the reflector being covered by a cap connected in a sealing fashion to the reflector. A plastic insert which is sealingly penetrated by electrical connections is introduced in the base of the cap. Moreover, an arcuate or annular channel which connects the interior of the cover cap to the ambient air is introduced into the plastic insert. The plastic insert is either inserted in a self-latching fashion into the cap base, or clamped between the cap base and an annular tube which surrounds the incandescent lamp base and is connected to the reflector.
