Multiple switch, especially an ignition-starter switch for motor vehicles

The invention relates to a multiple switch which is suitable especially as an ignition-starter switch for motor vehicles. A centre contact (2) can be connected by means of contact links (4.1, 4.2) to a plurality of outer stationary contacts (3a, 3b, ...) in an alternating switching sequence. Each contact link is in continuous contact, by means of a stamped-on contact surface (4b), with the centre contact, and has a contact roller (4c), which can rotate freely, for making contact with the stationary contacts (3a, 3b, ...). The stationary contacts are partially enclosed on one or both sides by control webs (5a, ...) for the contact rollers (4c) of the contact links (4.1, 4.2). The contact rollers (4c) have only such a width that they run past adjacent to the control webs (5a), a part (4d) which projects over the contact roller (4c) of each contact link (4.1, 4.2) sliding or rolling off over the control webs (5a) either directly or by means of a roller, roll or disc (4e) which is supported on said part (4d) such that it can rotate. The roller, roll or disc (4e) can be completely or partially composed of a heat-resistant plastic.
