Mast-foot arrangement for a surfboard

In a mast-foot arrangement for a surfboard, a mast foot containing a universal joint (21), to produce the connection between mast and surfboard body (20), can be inserted with a mast-foot pin (1) into a correspondingly shaped mast-foot housing (2) in the surfboard body and can be connected to the mast-foot housing (2) via an engageable, flexibly resilient locking element (3) which acts between the mast-foot pin (1) and the mast-foot housing (2), the release moment between mast-foot pin (1) and mast-foot housing (2) being adjustable. The mast-foot pin (1) and accordingly the mast-foot housing (2) each form a non-circular cross-section limited by edges or surfaces (9, 11, 12) of approximately the same length. The mast-foot pin can be inserted in the various angular positions into the mast-foot housing (2) to adjust the release moment, in each case an edge or surface (9, 11, 12) of different configuration coming into operative connection with the locking element (3), which in this respect is unchanged.
