Zusammenfassung:	In a folding-down rear seat with a head restraint, it is proposed that the head restraint should be automatically moved in front of the backrest by means of a mechanism when folding down the backrest, the mechanism comprising at least one connecting means - preferably a cable - which transmits the movement of the backrest to the head restraint. It is advantageous if the head restraint is lowered into a recess of the backrest and if a cover part for the recess is moved out of the recess synchronously with the movement of the head restraint.
