Zusammenfassung: | For the separate stapling of sets of copies coming continuously from a copier, a delivery surface is provided which is inclined through a certain angle in relation to the horizontal and on whose lower end a stapling device (112) of an essentially commercially available type is arranged. To indicate that the supply of staples of the stapling device is getting low, a reflecting surface is arranged on a spring-loaded push-rod (116, 117) inserted into the supply chute for the staples, which reflective surface is scanned by means of a reflected light barrier (162). Another reflecting surface on the upper part of the stapling device which interacts with the same light barrier indicates any jamming of the stapling device. A locking device (165, 168) which can be unlocked by insertion of the stapling device prevents opening of the stapling device before insertion into the unit. |
