Diazotype material

The invention relates to diazotype material for recording information. The aim and the object of providing a diazotype material whose image dyestuffs have absorption maxima above 620 nm is achieved when the diazotype material, consisting of diazonium salt, cyan couplers, binder and further photographic additives as appropriate, contains a combination of cyan couplers of the general formula R1-NH-N=CH-R2 in which R1 is a substituted unsaturated N-heterocyclic group with the hydrazine substitution in the 2-position relative to the heterocyclic nitrogen or in the 8-position of a quinoline system or in the 7-position of the indole system and R2 is a substituted aromatic, and of Cu(II) salts and/or Ni(II) salts and/or Co(II) salts of organic carboxylic acids.
