The moving contact piece (2) is guided displaceably in a tubular housing (4), the stationary (1) and moving (2) contact pieces being insulated via an insulation path (5). The vapour screen is constructed as a disc-shaped part (3) of the moving contact piece (2) and has such a diameter with respect to the metallic housing sheath (4) that the vapour produced during switching produces no precipitation, reducing the dielectric strength, on the insulation path (5). |
