Device for cleaning a transfer cylinder having a photoconductive layer in a copier

A cleaning device for a transfer cylinder in a copier has a wiping lip and a magnetic roller thereunder having an internal magnetic part (12), which is arranged adjustably but in a rotationally fixed fashion, and extends axially and over a fraction of the circumference of an enveloping tube (11) in the circumferential direction. The enveloping tube is driven upwards in a direction opposite to the adjacent direction of rotation of the transfer cylinder (1) for the enveloping tube. The magnetic part (12) extends from a position adjacent to the transfer cylinder up to a point located on the upper vertex. A cleansing device is provided for the enveloping tube (11) as a cleaning and sealing strip (32).
