Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a device for noise attenuation on preferably manually operated compressed-air machines, in which the device for noise attenuation is arranged in the handle of the compressed-air machine. The object of the invention is the provision of a device for noise attenuation on compressed-air machines, which device allows a high sound attenuating effect to be achieved. The idea of the invention is that the air outlet valve is constructed as a ball valve and the expansion chamber formed between the inner pipe and the outer pipe is connected to the air outlet opening on the machine handle. The invention is used in the production of manually operated compressed-air machines.
