Zusammenfassung:	For sealing a rotating tube in relation to a stationary housing enclosing the tube end, there is arranged on the jacket of the rotating tube a co-rotating rubbing seal which presses against a sealing ring fastened to the housing. To achieve a good seal, independently of the movement of the rotating tube in the axial and radial direction, and a simple construction, the rubbing seal is designed as a brush ring with a number of bristle rows in the axial direction of the rotating tube, and the free ends of the bristles touch the sealing ring.
