Zusammenfassung: | To achieve good mixture preparation and avoid fuel deposits in the intake system, even in those load ranges in which the air flow is regulated by releasing the throttle valve, a sleeve which tapers in the direction of flow is arranged in the annular channel which surrounds an injection valve arranged concentrically to the longitudinal axis of the intake pipe. Part of the air flow is guided by this sleeve and, at its outlet opening, strikes the ejected fuel jet and leads to fine atomisation. To improve driveability, the mixture which has undergone intensive preparation in this way is furthermore uniformly distributed over a chamber, in the wall of which a number of outlet openings corresponding to the number of cylinders of the internal combustion engine are provided on an arc, being connected to the intake pipes leading to the individual cylinders in accordance with the intake sequence. |
