Device for the protection of a pressure space against dynamic overload

The invention relates to a device for the protection of a pressure space against dynamic pressure overload, with a rock-burst valve of differential type which is provided with a shut-off element which is pressed against the seat by a spring element. The object of the invention is to provide a substantially more effective device having an improved operating characteristic and smaller dimensions. The invention achieves this object owing to the fact that the rock-burst valve has a shut-off element which is formed from a head piece which is displaceably and tightly mounted in the hollow space of the body of the rock-burst valve, that the extension piece is attached to the head piece on the side remote from the seat, the outer surface of which extension piece is displaceably and tightly mounted in the body of the rock-burst valve or in its bush in such a way that its outside touches the spring element, and that the inlet of the rock-burst valve, with a passage which is arranged in the shut-off element, is connected to the hollow space of the body via the head piece.
