Zusammenfassung: | Children's nappies, napkins for incontinent individuals, patients' undersheets and similar articles contain absorbent cushions made of cellulose. These absorbent cushions have a liquid-permeable film which faces the body in use, a liquid-impermeable film which faces away from the body in use and at least one absorbent layer located between these films. However, since the liquid to be absorbed usually only emerges at a locally restricted site it must be distributed over the surface of the absorbent cushion by appropriate measures. For this it is proposed that the two covering films reach through perforations in the absorbent layer and be connected with each other. The perforations may be oblong and arranged in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent cushion. Furthermore, in each case at least one linear perforation or several discrete perforations which together form a row may be arranged in the two longitudinal edge regions. |
