Machine for dehairing slaughtered animals

Machine for dehairing carcases of slaughtered animals, in particular pigs, with a grate-like supporting part for receiving the animal carcases and with, arranged below the supporting part and provided with beaters, a rotatable roller which extends in the longitudinal direction of the machine and the beaters of which extend through intermediate spaces of the supporting part. The supporting part is constructed with a row of support members which are spaced in the longitudinal direction of the machine and extend transversely to the longitudinal direction and which in each case have a trough region and a delimiting region for delimiting the treatment space on the ejection side during dehairing of the animal carcases. For ejection of the dehaired animal carcases, the support members can be lowered with their delimiting regions, preferably together and hydraulically.
