Zusammenfassung:	A liquid-cooled, supercharged internal combustion engine (1) has an air-cooled charge air cooler (2), which is connected to the liquid aftercooler (4) by a cooling air duct (7), in which a closable and openable air outlet cross-section (8) is provided for increasing the cooling air flow flowing through the charge air cooler, so that at least one part of the cooling air flow delivered by the cooling air fan (3) can emerge from the cooling air duct (7), bypassing the coolant aftercooler (4) of the internal combustion engine (1).
