Zusammenfassung:	What is described is a cutting roller for a road cutter which is supported and driven by means of a roller-bearing and drive device carried by a supporting frame, the cutting roller consisting of a cylindrical basic body, inside one end of which the drive of the roller-bearing and drive device is located and which has at this end an annular shoulder, against which the cutting tubes pushed on to the basic body from the other end can be supported, and there being attachable on to the other end a holding flange which prevents the cutting tubes from sliding off from this other end. This construction affords a cutting roller, the cutting pattern or cutting width of which can be varied in a simple way.
