Zusammenfassung:This patent describes an apparatus which makes it possible to prevent the formation of a dead volume in the HPLC separating column. The drop in the performance of HPLC separating columns associated with dead volumes is consequently eliminated. On the one hand, this increases the separating efficiency and the service life of the HPLC separating columns and, on the other hand, it improves the peak symmetry and the accuracy of the quantitative analytical results.
