Zusammenfassung: | To reduce the decrease in the load-bearing capacity of sliding-contact bearings due to deformation under load and the resulting skewing and/or bending of the shaft or journal, the bearing bushes hitherto used adapt elastically to the shaft or journal contour by virtue of the pressures prevailing in the lubricating film. The minimum depth of the lubricating gap is then constant over the width of the bearing. The same effect is achieved if the bore or shaft or journal is given a tapered or convex contour. Contour matching is then effected during manufacture itself. The manufacturing process is relatively simple if the contour is approximated by a hyperboloid obtained by guiding the tool along the generator. |
