Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:Device for safeguarding the water pressure in the cooling water circuit of a water-cooled internal combustion engine, the cooling water chambers of which are connected to a radiator and an equalising reservoir, which comprises a first pressure relief valve for limiting a predetermined water pressure during engine operation and a second pressure relief valve for limiting a predetermined maximum water pressure when the internal combustion engine is switched off, the operating pressure valve permitting a pressure limitation in relation to the external air pressure during engine operation but being separated from the cooling water circuit when the internal combustion engine is switched off, so that the pressure of the cooling water circuit is limited by way of the maximum pressure valve.
