Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a process for producing metal-coated mouldings, in particular headlamp reflectors, in which a paint layer and, on top thereof, a metal layer are applied to a moulding. The moulding has a surface consisting of an organic material. To this, a paint is applied which, as curable binders, contains an ethylenically unsaturated synthetic resin, ethylenically unsaturated oligomers and/or copolymerisable monomers and which is cured in contact with a temporary substrate which is adapted to the moulding and consists of a material to which the paint does not adhere. After the temporary substrate has been removed, the metal layer is applied in a manner known per se.
