Zusammenfassung:	A cross-linked (extruded) shrink moulding of short length, preferably a shrink tube (2), comprises elements (3) of greater tensile strength and lower elongation than the tube wall material, which are embedded in the wall (2), and extend in the longitudinal direction and are distributed over the periphery, and which have an axial length which essentially corresponds to the axial length of the moulding before distention (Figure 1). The elements (3) prevent change in the axial length of the tube, when it is radially shrunk.
