Zusammenfassung:The invention describes a process for the production of cellular polyurethane elastomer mouldings having a predominantly closed cell structure by reacting NCO group-containing prepolymers having an NCO content of from 1.5 to 8, preferably prepared from organic polyiso cyanates and essentially linear, high-molecular-weight polyols in an NCO:OH ratio of from 1.3 to 2.5 and containing less than 3% by weight of free monomeric polyisocyanates, based on the total weight, with water, optionally in the presence of auxiliaries and/or additives, in closed moulds.
