Zusammenfassung: | In the case of three-point seatbelts for the occupants of cars, the upper belt (shoulder belt), which rolls up in a storage device, is guided by a deflection member attached to the vehicle body. It is the aim of the invention to spare the belt by substantially reducing the friction of the belt when passing through the deflection member by sheathing the metal body of said member with a plastic of a low sliding-friction coefficient. In addition, it is the aim of the invention to be able to attach the plastic sheathing subsequently to the metal part, independently of the production of the latter, and, in addition, to dimension the structure of the plastic sheathing in such a manner that in the event of an accident it is permanently deformed, allowing the functioning of the belt system to be checked thereby. The sheath is composed of a plastic moulding which can be combined with a part of the same design in a mirror-inverted fashion to form a firmly closed sheath. |
