Kit for the production of playing field markings

A kit for the production of playing field markings, especially for tennis courts or the like, has line strips (2) which are formed by sectional rails (3, 3a, 3b, 3c, 3d) fitted together. The sectional rails and connecting parts (10) are prefabricated in such a manner that their length and/or dimensions match the dimensions of the playing field. As a result, once the sectional rails have been assembled, a dimensionally accurate set of playing field markings or divisions is obtained without additional survey work at the place of assembly. The sectional rails consist of U-shaped sections with lateral legs which, in the operating position, are located within the ground. The sectional rails are connected to each other by means of connecting parts, which can be pushed by their connector ends (13) into internal cavities in the sectional rails. The sectional rails and the connecting parts (10) consist of aluminium.
