Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a process for producing the seat for valve closure parts. In this process the seat is cast, injection moulded, compression moulded or suction moulded in situ with the closure part as lost core. The invention also relates to a valve seat (16) made of a plastic which is cast around the closure part (18) and adheres to the housing (20). It is used for the production of seats for valve closure parts in slide valves, cocks, butterfly valves and valves of all kinds.
