Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to a parking brake, in particular for rail vehicles. This parking brake has a friction clutch which is assigned a nut (5) with a comparatively coarse thread which is secured against rotary movements on a threaded spindle (3) by the clutch by means of a force exerted by a multiplicity of disc or Belleville springs (21). The threaded spindle (3) is connected to a braking head. The force of the disc or Belleville springs (21) can be overcome by a pressure medium, for example compressed air, which is allowed to act on corresponding surfaces of a multiplicity of pistons (17) arranged in series so as to release the coarse-threaded nut (5) for rotary movement and thus takes up the axial movement during the normal braking operation or brake release operation of the spindle (3). |
