Storage heater with controllable heat delivery

The invention relates to a storage heater for any heating and with static discharging as well as with controllable heat delivery. A heatable storage mass (1) is surrounded by displaceable blinds (2) which consist of a large number of rhomboidally shaped lamellar bodies (3). These in turn consist of heat-insulating material and are provided with reflecting surfaces (3'). As a result of the special shape and the nature of the material and of the surface of these lamellar bodies (3), on the one hand the heat radiation is, when the blinds (2) are closed, kept in the space surrounded by the blinds (2) by multiple reflection and on the other hand, when the blinds (2) are open, a complete, virtually loss-free heat radiation from the storage mass (1) to the outside is guaranteed (Fig. 2). The device is surrounded by a heat-absorbing casing (6). An additional heat delivery by convection is possible by means of regulating flaps.
