Zusammenfassung:A device is proposed for optically testing workpieces for dimensional stability, shape etc., and for detecting the position of the workpieces. The device has a light source whose radiation is fed to the workpiece via a lens and via mirrors from at least two different directions, so that even parts which are not rotationally symmetrical can be detected and tested. The detection is performed as in the main patent by evaluating the form of the radiation signals which are received by a sensor situated in the beam path downstream of the workpiece.
