Zusammenfassung:1. A device for holding a multiplicity of different objects, comprising a plate (1), which consists of an upright wall plate and has openings (2) arranged in a regular pattern, and components (3), which are to be arranged on the plate (1) at the openings (2) and are provided with means for retaining the articles on the plate (1), which components can be used to arrange and/or retain the objects in a selectable order, wherein the components (3) comprise a coupling part (6) which is adapted to be associated with the openings (2) and which under an initial spring stress extends into at least two openings (2) so as to retain the component (3) on the plate (1) in that the cross-sectional region of the plate (1) disposed between the two openings (2) is held under initial spring stress between an engaging surface (17) of the component (3) on the front surface of the plate (1) and a second section (12) of the coupling part (6) on the rear side of the plate (1), said coupling part being adapted to be released from the front side of the plate (1) characterized in that the coupling part (6) consists of a hook-shaped part, which extends upwardly with respect to the plate (1) and which is provided at its top end with a projection (20) which protrudes into the at least second opening (2) and has an engaged surface (14) in contact with the opposite end wall (15) of the opening (2) and that the component (3) comprises a spring tongue (16), which is opposite to the coupling part (6) and directed toward the front side of the plate (1) and when in a relaxed state protrudes beyond the engaging surface (17) toward the second portion (12).
