Zusammenfassung: | The probes presently used in the cable industry for the purpose of measuring capacitance on running wires mostly consist of bore probes which are arranged one inside another and connected to one another electrically to form half bridges. In conjunction with the use of brass tubes, this system and the additional requirement for watertightness render these designs very expensive. The aim of the invention is to simplify the design and production of the probes. The solution is that the electrically conductive cooling channel in which the probe is located is included in the measurement principle, the probe consists only of two mutually insulated tubes, and the wires to be measured are electrically earthed with the cooling channel. An insulation film over the probe protects against external electrical influences. |
