Electromechanical filter with resonator comb - has thermoplastics base supporting resonators and incorporating terminal wires

The resonator has a base (1) for receiving a series of individual resonators together providing a resonator comb. The base (1) is formed as a thermoplastics block which has two parallel longitudinal channels one on either side of a central reinforcing rib. The support pins for each resonator fit through a resilient adhesive block inserted in each channel, so that the resonators do not contact the base (1). The terminal wires for the resonators are coupled to terminal wires (3) embedded in the base (1) at each end of the resonator comb and bent through 90 degrees to extend from the bottom of the base (1). The resonator is enclosed by a cover which is snap-fitted over the base (1). The filter is designed for ease of mfr.
