Zusammenfassung:This is an electronic measurement device which triggers an alarm when breathing (e.g. of an infant) stops. It is intended to recognize cessation of breathing in good time and to prevent, inter alia, the sudden and inexplicable death of infants due to allergic spasms in the region of the airways. Its possible applications are in hospitals, nursing homes and in the private sector. Breathing movements are recorded by the measurement device and subsequently amplified. If no breathing is recorded the switching stage and the relay are actuated after a short time delay.
