Zusammenfassung:	The cutter head for a machine fitting filter tips to cigarettes has a drum on which a number of knives (13) are mounted. Each knife is spring-loaded radially outwards against an adjustable holder, by which the distance of the cutting edge from the drum axis can be varied. Each holder preferably has a shaft extending along a chord of the drum, and has an eccentric bearing engaging the knife, in such manner that the shaft rotation changes the radial position of the knife. The shaft may have a latching stop.
