Pneumatic conveyor for powdery substance - uses concentric supply tubes to discharge pulsating flow into closed vessel inside

The pneumatic transport is used for mixing a powdery substance with solid material, forming a charge (8) inside a closed vessel (4) by a pneumatic injection system. The vessel can be vertical, with a top entry for a vertical tube (1) supplying the powder. This is mounted concentrically inside a tube (2) from which air, or gas, under pressure is delivered in pulses. This tube has a side connection (3) for the pulsating air supply. The powder is then delivered as pellets to the charge inside the vessel, travelling outwards sideways from the bottom of the supply tube, at low level, then upwards through the charge. Alternative designs use a bottom entry and side entry.
