Zusammenfassung: | The bell has a hammer (4) oscillating from side to side between two hemispherical cups (18,19) or similar that produce the sound. The hammer has a finger (21) attached to it and whose position can be altered via the cam (16) of a setting wheel. An element (20) is attached to the hammer parallel to the finger and has spring-like properties. The free end of the element also cooperates with the cam. The element may be a springy length of wire. In the quiet end-position of the setting wheel the wire rests on the cam instead of the finger's resting on the cam -- which means that the electromagnetic armature (driving the hammer) has sufficient play to generate noise. |
