Zusammenfassung:	The proportional navigation system for a controlled object e.g. torpedo, rocket, etc. directed at a fixed or moving target has an established proportionally factor. The object is to be navigated to the target and the velocity of the vector is proportional to the velocity of the time of sight between the two. The proportionality factor is given by a mathematical relationship dependent upon the instantaneous distance between the objects.
