Alkanolphosphoric acid mono-ammonium alkyl esters of formula (I) and their pharmacologically acceptable salts are new. (X is a bond, O, S, sulphinyl, sulphonyl, aminocarbonyl, carbonylamino, ureido, cycloalkylene or phenylene; Y is O or S; R1 is H, opt. branched, opt. satd. 1-18C alkyl opt. substd. by one or more aryl, halo, lower alkoxy, alkylmercapto, alkoxycarbonyl, alkansulphinyl or alkanesulphonyl gps.; R2 is opt. branched opt. satd. 1-18C alkylene, opt. substd. by one or more halo, aryl, lower alkoxy, alkoxycarbonyl, alkylmercapto, alkanesulphonyl or alkanesulphinyl gps.; R3 is opt. branched, opt. satd. 2-8C alkylene, which is opt. part of a cycloalkane ring and which is opt. substd. by one or more OH, halo, CN, cycloalkyl, Ph, alkoxycarbonyl, opt. alkylated carbamoyl, alkylmercapto, alkanesulphinyl, alkanesulphonyl, opt. acylated amino or alkoxy gps., this last being opt. substd. by aryl, alkylmercapto, alkanesulphinyl, alkanesulphonyl, opt. acylated NH2, alkoxycarbonyl, CN, OH, alkoxy or opt. alkylated carbamoyl; R4 is opt. branched 2-4C alkylene; R5 is H or lower alkyl; n is 0, 1 or 2). (I) are anticancer agents, which are cancerostatic without causing thrombocyte aggregation. Suitable daily doses are 0.05-100 mg/kg.
